INITIAL MEET & GREET
BTW offers a meet and greet with your Furry Friend Crew for a $15 fee, which will be included in your first invoice. Any additional meet and greets will be charged on your next invoice.
WALK WINDOWS
For walking and in-home visits, we request a 2-hour window for dogs that are not puppies or elderly with incontinence issues. For example, if your preferred walk time is 1pm, your sitter will arrive between 12 PM and 2 PM.
KEYS AND ACCESS
BTW only accepts the following methods for accessing your home and pets:
- Coded Entry (Door or Garage): Clients provide a code for garage doors or coded locks. Only assigned BTW staff will have access. We ask for a backup key to be kept at our main office in case of a power outage.
- Lockbox: Clients provide a lockbox on the property for easy access. The key will be returned after each visit. A backup key is also required for our main office for emergencies.
- Concierge: Keys can be collected from your building’s concierge. Please inform your concierge in advance. Note that visit time begins when the walker checks in with the concierge to keep services on schedule.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
We will do our best to complete services within the scheduled time during inclement weather, but safety for your pet and our staff is the priority. If it’s unsafe to proceed, we may delay the visit as needed. If the Federal Government closes due to severe weather, cancellation fees will be waived.
CANCELLATION FEES
- Daily Walks & In-Home Visits: Cancel by 5 PM the evening before to avoid fees. Cancellations made between 5 PM and 7 AM on the day of service will incur a 50% fee, and cancellations after 7 AM will be charged the full service cost.
- Non-Holiday Overnights/Multiple Days In-Home Visits: Cancellations made within two weeks of your booking or during the trip will incur a 25% fee of the scheduled services.
- Holiday Overnights/Multiple Days In-Home Visits: Cancellations made within two weeks of your booking or during the trip will incur a 50% fee of the scheduled services.
LATE REQUEST FEES
- Weekdays: Request services at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $15 late fee.
- Weekends: Submit requests by 7 PM on Thursday to avoid the $15 weekend late fee.
WEEKEND AND AFTER-HOURS FEES
- Weekend Surcharge: $5 for all weekend visits.
- After-Hours (Monday–Friday): $5 for any visit starting after 4 PM.
LATE PAYMENT FEE
Invoices not paid within 30 days will incur a 5% interest charge on the outstanding amount, compounded weekly.
SCHEDULING
To ensure your requests are processed, all scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations must be made through the BTW Time To Pet (TTP) portal under the "Schedule" tab:
